If you don't already log your roasts, you should. It will help you learn about roasting and to replicate that perfect batch you did last week. A lot of thought went into designing these. We did our best to produce a log that would be valuable for those using any kind of roaster.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nTemperature logging: We decided to leave out fields for temperature since most roasting machines don't have temperature readings built in. if your roaster does have a temperature display or if you hooked up a thermometer, we left extra line space for you to add that information.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nRoasting by the senses: Check out the inside cover for a nifty chart we included. It combines what you should expect from your coffee as it transforms into brown roasted goodness. Roast levels, temperatures, sight, sound, taste, smell, touch...it's all there.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nThe little details: We couldn't just make a booklet with identical pages. Each page has a fun drawing of something coffee-ish. Is our office dog and soccer coffee related?\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nThe image on the front and back covers is a photo of rows of Colombian coffee shrubs.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nFeel free to photocopy the pages so you don't have to buy a new one when you run out of space. It won't hurt our feelings.
